Ryu Hoi-woong is a choreographer who has worked across musicals, theatre, and opera since his time with the Korea National Ballet. His work explores contemporary social themes with a distinctive sense of wit, expanding his own choreographic language. He currently teaches at Korea National University of Arts and Kyung Hee University, and serves as Artistic Director of Ryu Hoi-woong Liberty Hall. CHOREOGRAPHER 노 모어 NO MORE 「NO MORE」는 2024년 서울시발레단 사전 창단 공연에서 초연된 작품으로, 2025 시즌에는 한층 업그레이드된 무대를 선보였다. 현대 사회의 단면을 배경으로, 강렬한 드럼 비트에 맞춰 무용수들은 멈추지 않고 달리고, 무너졌다 다시 일어나기를 반복한다. 이러한 움직임은 무력한 오늘을 넘어 내일로 나아가려는 에너지와 카타르시스를 전한다. NO MORE, originally created for the preinaugural performance of Seoul Metropolitan Ballet in 2024, returned in the 2025 season with a more powerful and refined staging. Set against the backdrop of contemporary society, the dancers relentlessly run to intense drum beats, repeatedly collapsing and rising again.
