What an amazing transformation of the members of the Seoul Metropolitan Chorus (SMC)!

is a stage where the members of the SMC, who have so far immersed themselves in chorus, exert their soloist skills to the full. Each year, they choose a theme and sing various songs and arias, mainly in solo and chorus.
At Sejong Chamber Hall, the Korea best classical concert hall where even the faintest sound of breaths is vividly delivered to the audience,
you can enjoy the high-quality vocal concert.

[The Cast] the Seoul Metropolitan Chorus (SMC)
The SMC (Director Park Jong-won) was founded in 1978. In the first year, it performed opera (in invitational collaboration with the Vienna Opera Company invited by the SMC), which was to commemorate its debut in the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, and Brahms’ ‘Song of Love’ at the first regular concert. Every year, the SMC performs a variety of opera stages from a profound traditional classical chorus to a comfortable one, digesting all genres and developing several forms of performance programs for citizens, and releases creative choral songs, all of which have solidified its position as a municipal choir group. The SMC tries to cultivate the sentiments of the citizens through colorful stage performances of rich tones.
