SEOUL METROPOLITAN CHORUS

Centering the inherent beauty of choral singing.
- The Seoul Metropolitan Chorus was established in 1978 along with the opening of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts to nurture choral music and enrich the emotion of Seoul citizens.
  
  It showcases the charm of choral music through a carefully curated and balanced repertoire, featuring a variety of works by international and domestic composers spanning from the past and the present and domestic composers imbued with the spirit of Korea, including music history masterpieces known for high work quality and artistic value.
  
  It presents a novel stage that breaks the genre framework by combining various elements centered on choral music. Through a new format of choral concerts that breaks the boundaries of genres, it has been serving as a center for choral art in Korea by creating a stage where all generations can empathize and communicate together and performing symphonic choral masterpieces with leading Korean orchestras.
  
  It is active in developing various types of programs for citizens and contributing to the development of Korean choral music and the fostering of citizens' emotions and culture through various stages.
