The Sejong Arts Academy was established in June 2007 with an aim to help further understanding and appreciation of arts and culture of citizens. Serving as a creative space, it facilitates the creation of new lifestyles, bridging the gap between artists and audiences. Located in the heart of the city, the majority of attendees at the Sejong Arts Academy are office workers at Gwanghwamun. Many different courses are offered during lunch and evening hours, including classical music, musical theater, and artwork appreciation. During school vacations, cultural classes for teenagers are also offered.
