The Story of King Sejong and Admiral Yi Sunshin

The exhibition hall of the Story of King Sejong and Admiral Yi Sunshin is a vivid historical and cultural spaces operated by SEJONG CENTER, and is designed to commemorate the life and achievements of King Sejong, the fourth king of the Joseon Dynasty, and Admiral Yi Sunshin, who made a great triumps during the Imjin War (Japanese War), whom Koreans are most respectful and proud of.
The exhibition hall of the Story of King Sejong was opened on October 9, 2009, to commemorate Hangul Proclamation Day, and the exhibition hall of the story of Admiral Yi Sunshin was opened on April 28, 2010, in memory of Admiral Yi Sun-shin's birthday.
The exhibition hall of the Story of King Sejong consists of a total of 12 exhibition spaces; 1. The Story of King Sejong 2. People-Oriented philosophy of King Sejong 3. The exhibition hall of the story of Admiral Yi Sunshin consists of a total of 6 exhibition spaces; 1. Life of Great Yi Sunshin 2. Ships of the Joseon Dynasty 3. Seven Years of Naval Warfare 4. Yi Sunshin in Nanjung Ilgi (War Diary) 5. Yi Sunshin’s Leadership 6. 4D Experience Hall. The exhibition hall of the Story of King Sejong and Admiral Yi Sunshin is a tourist attraction in Seoul that attracts about 1.5 million visitors a year, and offers a wide variety of experience and educational programs as a space where visitors can fully experience living history in downtown Seoul.Tour Guide
