Long a pillar of Korea’s techno scene, vurt., and the critically-acclaimed audiovisual collective eobchae, turn their focus to Berlin’s techno culture—recognized last year as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. At the moment when conflicts born of differing ideologies transmute into solidarity in pursuit of peace, what role does techno play? Through a five-hour-long performance and DJ set, they delve into the ever-evolving essence of techno music.

Launched in Seoul in 2014 under the slogan “Ancient Future”, vurt. is a collective dedicated to timeless electronic music and the pure spirit of the underground. Based in a venue of the same name in Hapjeong, Seoul, vurt. hosts monthly underground techno parties, fostering a space for forward-thinking sound and community.
eobchae
eobchae is an audio-visual production unit composed of Kim Nahee, Oh Cheonseok, and Hwang Hwi. The collective produces and exchanges goods and services in which critical perspective is never omitted. They roam around computing devices and screens of various sizes, striving to fulfill the duties outlined in their contracts. eobchae has held solo exhibitions at venues including the Nam June Paik Art Center, Doosan Gallery, and SeMA Bunker. Their work spans multiple domains, including a nomination for Best Electronic Song at the Korean Music Awards (2022) and the recipient of the Doosan Yonkang Arts Awards in Visual Arts (2021), exploring intersections of technology, art, and critique.

Audiences who use performances, exhibitions (paid) and experiences (paid exhibition experience) can get a discount on parking fees when using Sejong-ro public parking lot.
If you complete the settlement in advance at the unmanned settlement machine before you leave, you can avoid congestion when you leave. For other discounts, please use the manned settlement office with the relevant certificate. - Sejongro Public Parking Lot has limited space and is often full, requiring a long time to find parking. Especially on weekends and public holidays, it fills up quickly, so we highly recommend using public transportation.

- Reservation can be canceled and changed by 5p.m. the day before the viewing date (weekdays/weekends (Saturday and Sunday)/holiday)
- No reservation cancellation, change, or refund on the day of the viewing date

Cancellation Fee
- If you make a reservation three days before the viewing date, you will not be charged a fee if you cancel it within midnight on the day of the Internet reservation. From two days before the viewing date, cancellation fees will also be charged for cancellation on the day of reservation.(See below.)
