    PREVIEW

    ROOM 01 INSPIRATION

"Inspiration comes to me through emotion and heart."
Eva Armisén describes the process of inspiration as birds often fly. Inspiration for an artist is like a small, cute bird that flies into a sunny garden and chirps.
Inspiration is the beginning of a journey as an artist. Eva Armisén's exhibition 'Vida' is her emotion and heart. I hope this space will allow her to share the inspirational process.

ROOM 02 PART OF THE LANDSCAPE

"It's very interesting to think that every moment of our lives remains in a certain form to build what we are today."
We leave traces of ourselves. Even though our memories become dull and faded, the traces left like footprints become a big background that defines us and the backgroud makes us special.
It's a space allowing us to talk about the factors that make us exist and the path we've gone through.

ROOM 03 WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?

To pass through the heart shaped door, you can encounter the space where our hearts are beating. It is Eva Armisén's fantasy world where you can observe the small corners of your mind with six emotions through images, music, pictures and sculptures.

ROOM 04 TODOS A COMER EVERYBODY TO THE TABLE

This is the 4th space of the exhibition with dogs and lobsters walking on the table and honeybees buzzing next to a jar of honey and it is also the place where a fairy tale book of the same title, written by Eva Armisén and her musician husband, is reproduced through sculptures and media.

    ROOM 05 NATURE

"The world seen in nature is always special. I think emotions come from where we belong. I hope that these works will make visitors look at the surroundings from my perspective."
From Eva Armisén's viewpoint nature is the source of life so that there is full of life in every part of her life.
When you look around with a different perspective, sometimes you realize that a monotonous routine is actually a series of precious moments.

    ROOM 06 PAUSE

"There are times when we stop we can see where we are and what's around us."
Eva Armisén talks about the importance of 'resting' through this space. We have to take a rest. Sometimes why don't you have a time of thinking about whether you've missed something important running straight forward.

    ROOM 07 US

Eva Armisén, who has a large number of works titled ‘Together’, emphasizes the importance of "we" through several works.
"There are groups that give me the feeling of becoming a complete person when I'm with them. They are families, friends or colleagues and there's no way to describe the sense of belonging."
This space consists of works concerning interaction between me and people around me.

    ROOM 08 EVASIONES

It is a specially constructed space for this exhibition. The pieces of color between the two large murals create a fantastic path that helps us connect with each other. Some of the pieces are scattered on the road to run toward an another imaginary world.
This installation, which represents Eva Armisén's fantasy and imaginary world, expresses the process of finding happiness.
