Sejong Chamber Series, a feast of classical music staged at the exclusive classical music hall
“The lyricism and transparency delivered by these four performers will bring unexpected depth and charm to the listeners.” - ★★★★★ France Diapason
“Esme Quartet is by far the best among the young generation quartets I have heard. I can’t help but admire the musical sensibility that these four performers create as well as their technical skills” - Gunter Pichler (1st violin of Alban Berg Quartet)
Esme Quartet was led by the legendary pianist Alfred Brendel, as well as the violinist Gunter Pichler of Alban Berg Quartet, Christoph Poppen, Eberhard Feltz, Casals Quartet, and Keller Quartet, solidifying their musical capabilities as a chamber ensemble. Esme Quartet is currently studying for a master’s degree in chamber music at the University of Lübeck in Germany under the violinist Heime Muller (former member of Artemis Quartet).
