'The world’s best orchestra, full of history and tradition. The Vienna Philharmonic, an orchestra of perfect skill that has inherited the ‘Vien Phil Sound’ with a history of over 180 years,’ is holding its first concert in Korea in 17 years at the Sejong Cultural Center in the Autumn of 2021.
'The world’s best conductor,’ Ricardo Muti, will lead the orchestra. The Vienna Philharmonic concerts in Korea have always brought the wonderful history of Western music with the best conductors of the time, including Wilhelm Furtwengler, Karl Beam, and Herbert von Karajan, and this time the currently active conductor, Ricardo Muti, who has had a close relationship with the Vienna Philharmonic for many concerts, takes the baton, raising expectations for the concert even more.
Through this concert, which consists of the entire symphony stage from, the ‘Essence of the Symphony,’ to Mozart's Symphony No. 35, ‘Haffner,’ which was originally played by the Vienna Philharmonic, to Shubert’s Symphony No. 9, ‘Great,’ you can meet the essence of a proper concert played by the world’s best orchestra.
