싱어송라이터에서 앰비언트 음악으로 혁신을 시도하는 루시드폴, 정가와 그레고리안 성가의 접점에서 소리의 근원을 탐구하는 정마리, 제주 바다를 미학적으로 해석하는 부지현 작가. 세 아티스트가 서로 다른 속도와 주기를 가지고 라이브 퍼포먼스를 합니다. 공연과 전시의 경계를 허문 모호한 공간에서 관객 여러분은 ‘관람’이 아닌, 제각기 자유로운 방식으로 순간을 ‘향유’하며 유영합니다.
Lucid Fall, a singer-songwriter venturing into ambient soundscapes. Jungmari, exploring the origin of sound at the intersection of Korean jeongga and Gregorian chant. Boo Jihyun, an artist interpreting the seas of Jeju through a refined aesthetic lens. These three artists, each moving to their own rhythm and cycle, present a live performance that transcends traditional formats. In a space that blurs the boundaries between performance and exhibition, audiences are not mere spectators but free swimmers—immersing themselves in each moment in their own unique way.

제22회 한국대중음악상 최우수 알앤비&소울 음반상을 수상하며, 단발성 협업을 넘어서는 팀으로 자리잡은 수민&슬롬. 솔직하고 창의적인 언어, 청량한 보컬, 감각적인 사운드와 리듬으로 서로의 색을 완성해온 두 사람은, 지난 ‹MINISERIES LIVE›에 이어 ‘카메라’라는 매체를 사이에 둔 새로운 공연을 선보입니다. 극장이라는 한정된 공간에서 렌즈는 무대와 관객, 시선과 장면을 겹쳐 담고, 이는 다채로운 트랙이 하나의 음반으로 수렴되듯 다시 수민&슬롬이라는 이름으로 응축됩니다.
SUMIN & Slom, winners of Best R&B & Soul Album at the 22nd Korean Music Awards, have evolved from a one-time collaboration into a duo with distinct presence. Following MINISERIES LIVE, they return with a new performance—this time placing a camera between themselves, the stage, and the audience. Inside the confines of the theater, the lens layers performers and viewers, scenes and gazes, into one frame—just as diverse tracks come together to form a single, cohesive album, and once again, become SUMIN & Slom.

클래식의 경계를 넘어 가장 지금의 음악을 고민하는 두 창작자 최재혁과 주정현이 선사하는 가장 야성적인 순간을 마주해보죠. 해금, 첼로, 피아노, 드럼 등 익숙한 악기들은 신체의 움직임과 반응하며, 거대한 음향의 덩어리로 나아갑니다. 예측할 수 없는 전개 속에서 이들이 빚어내는 감정의 소용돌이를 따라가는 이번 경험은 일반적이지 않습니다. 익숙한 연주와 낯선 청음이 공존하는 순간 - 그렇기에 가장 ‘원초적 기쁨’의 순간을 만끽하는 무경계의 지점을 좇아봅니다.
Two of the most forward-thinking creators in contemporary music—Jaehyuck Choi and Jeonghyeon Joo—invite us to confront the wildest moment at the edge of classical form. Familiar instruments collide with the physicality of the human body to create vast, pulsing masses of sound. In an unfolding that defies prediction, the storm of emotion they shape is anything but ordinary. As familiar performance meets unfamiliar listening, we are drawn into that borderless space—where we come face to face with something raw: a Primitive Happiness.

낯선 사람들 사이에 존재하는 보이지 않는 장벽을 마주하고 연결하는 경험을 공연으로 선보여온 ‘코끼리들이 웃는다’가 45명의 배우와 함께 관객 여러분의 수많은 감각을 일깨우고, 또 다른 세계로 연결합니다. 각기 다른 삶의 경험과 배경을 지닌 우리는 만남과 헤어짐을 반복하며 스스로의 이야기를 써내려갑니다. ‘마주하는’ 것은 때로는 단순하고 따뜻한 위로가 되기도 하고, 때로는 불편함을 동반하기도 해요. 45명과의 만남 속에서 말로는 다 설명할 수 없는 서로 다른 세계의 연결이 이윽고 합창이 되는 순간을 바라며.
Having long explored the invisible walls between strangers, the Elephants Laugh returns with 45 performers to awaken the senses and open a path to another world. Shaped by different lives and experiences, we write our stories through repeated meetings and partings. To meet “between glances” can feel like a quiet comfort—or at times, an uneasy shift. Within these 45 encounters, we move toward a moment when countless, unspoken worlds begin to resonate in quiet harmony.

전통연희를 동시대의 감각으로 꺼내는 리퀴드사운드는 다양한 장르 및 매체와 협업하며 전통의 형식을 해체하고 새로운 감각을 조립해왔습니다. ‹OffOn 연희해체 프로젝트Ⅱ›는 풍물굿의 구조를 바탕으로 ‘해체(Off)와 선택(On)’이라는 개념을 풀어냅니다. 연희자의 신체를 악기이자 도구로 삼고 전통의 장단과 동작을 낯선 방식으로 재구성하죠. 익숙한 연희 요소들이 새로운 문법으로 흐트러지고, 정적 에너지와 신명의 균형 속에서 확장되는 이 해체의 흐름 속에서 우리는 어떤 감각과 마주하게 될지 묻게 됩니다.
Liquid Sound reimagines yeonhee through a contemporary lens, working across genres and media to deconstruct tradition and reassemble new sensation. OffOn: Yeonhee Project II draws from pungmul gut and explores “deconstruction (Off) and selection (On).” Performers’ bodies become instruments as traditional rhythms and movements are reshaped through unfamiliar logic. Familiar yeonhee elements unravel into new forms, and within this flow—between stillness and rhythmic vitality—we ask: what new sensations might emerge?

뮤지컬 ‹동네› 프로젝트로 만난 작가 강남, 작곡가 김효은, 연출가 이준우가 새로운 1인극을 선보입니다. H. G. 웰즈의 단편 『벽 속의 문』을 현대적으로 재해석한 ‹문 속의 문›은, 성공한 정치인 웰러스의 죽음과 그를 흉내 내는 친구 레드몬드의 진술을 통해 ‘가짜 나’와 ‘진짜 나’가 교차하는 무대를 만듭니다. 촘촘한 언어와 서사로 인간의 본성을 파고드는 강남, 섬세하고 입체적인 음악으로 정서의 결을 그려내는 김효은, 인물의 양면성을 치밀한 연출로 설계하는 이준우—세 창작자의 시선이 교차하며, 현실과 환상의 문틈이 열립니다.
Writer Kang Nam, composer Kim Hyoeun, and director Lee Junwoo—first brought together through Neighborhood—present a new solo work. The Door Within the Door, a contemporary take on H. G. Wells’ The Door in the Wall, follows a politician’s death and his friend Redmond’s testimony, where imitation blurs into confession. As illusion and truth collide, Kang’s sharp storytelling, Kim’s textured music, and Lee’s focused direction converge—gently opening a door between reality and fantasy.

한국 힙합 씬에 ‘자연’이라는 감각을 불어넣은 독보적 래퍼 제이통은, 플렉스 대신 플로깅을 선택하며 자연을 마주하는 삶의 태도를 그의 음악에 담아왔습니다. 부산으로부터 비롯한 지역성을 놓치지 않는 그는, 음악적 고민을 함께 나눠온 로다운30, 노스페이스갓과 함께 이번 Sync Next 무대에 오릅니다. 고요한 자연의 리듬에서 시작해 문명 확장과 충돌로의 고조 속에서, 제이통은 에너지로 무대를 가득 채우며 랩과 움직임, 메시지를 하나로 엮어내죠. 이제 우리는 단순한 퍼포먼스를 넘어, 하나의 선언을 목도합니다.
In the Korean hip-hop scene, J-Tong stands out as a rapper who brings the sensibility of nature into his work. Choosing plogging over flexing, he channels a way of life rooted in nature into his music. Grounded in the local spirit of Busan, J-Tong joins collaborators Lowdown 30 and Northfacegawd on the Sync Next stage. Beginning with the quiet rhythms of nature and rising into the intensity of industrial expansion and clash, J-Tong fills the space with energy—blending rap, movement, and message into one. In that moment, we witness more than a performance; we witness a declaration.

전 세계를 무대로 춤추는 두 안무가 – 서울의 해니와 프라하의 미스터 크리스가 몸과 내면의 깊숙한 연결을 탐구합니다. 해니와 크리스의 움직임은 30명의 댄서들로 확장되어, 서로를 비추고 교감하며 새로운 파장을 만들어냅니다. 이들이 춤추는 공간은 대화의 장이자 서로를 얽매는 우리(cage), 동시에 함께하는 우리(us)입니다. 올라퍼 아르날즈(Ólafur Arnalds), 하니아 라니(Hania Rani)의 음악과 앰비언트 뮤지션 모하니(Mohani)의 감각적인 라이브 디제잉이 이들의 여정을 가득 채웁니다.
Two choreographers dancing across the world—Haeni from Seoul and Mr. Kriss from Prague—delve into the deep connection between body and inner self. Their movements expand through thirty dancers, reflecting, resonating, and generating new waves of energy. The space they dance in is both a cage(pronounced ‘OO-LI’ in Korean) that binds and an us(also pronounced ‘OO-LI’ in Korean) that unites—a place of dialogue and shared presence. Their journey is filled with the music of Ólafur Arnalds and Hania Rani, along with the refined ambient live DJ set by Mohani.

끊임없이 닦이고 씻겨 나가는 무대, 그러나 지워지지 않는 흔적. 반복된 행위 속에 감춰진 폭력와 억압은 오히려 부드러운 감각으로 스며듭니다. 안무가 김성훈은 ‹Pool›, ‹조동›에 이어, 이번 작업에서 흔적과 변질, 그리고 지울 수 없는 것들을 탐구합니다. 관객들은 불현듯 묻게 됩니다. 우리가 애써 덮고 가리려 하는 모든 것이 오히려 더 선명해지는 건 아닐까. 결국, 이것은 폭력적인 이미지의 단순한 나열이 아닌 우리가 무심코 아름답다고 감각하는 대상의 이중성에 대한 잔상입니다.
The stage is wiped and washed endlessly, and yet, the traces remain. Beneath the repetition lies a quiet violence and suppression that paradoxically seeps in with softness. Choreographer Kim Seong-Hun, following works like Pool and Jodong, delves into the marks, the mutations, and the things that cannot be erased. The audience is left to wonder: could it be that the more we try to cover and conceal, the more vividly it reveals itself? In the end, this is not a mere sequence of violent images, but a lingering reflection on the duality of what we so often perceive as beautiful.

국내 테크노씬을 10여년간 이끌어온 벌트vurt.와 미술계가 주목하는 오디오-비주얼 콜렉티브 업체eobchae가 지난해 독일 유네스코 인류무형문화유산으로 등재된 ‘베를린 테크노 문화’에 주목합니다. 서로 다른 이념에서 비롯된 갈등이 평화를 좇는 연대로 트랜스(Trans)된 순간, 테크노 음악은 어떻게 다가왔을까요. 장장 5시간에 걸친 라이브 퍼포먼스와 디제잉을 통해 끊임없이 진화하는 테크노의 본질을 탐구합니다.
Long a pillar of Korea’s techno scene, vurt., and the critically-acclaimed audiovisual collective eobchae, turn their focus to Berlin’s techno culture—recognized last year as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. At the moment when conflicts born of differing ideologies transmute into solidarity in pursuit of peace, what role does techno play? Through a five-hour-long performance and DJ set, they delve into the ever-evolving essence of techno music.

The Sync Next experience seeps beyond the theater and into everyday life. Encounter a special fusion of collectives and localities in the hidden garden of Gwanghwamun Square, where you can immerse yourself in original tastes and sounds. At Wells — a space brought to life by the creative spirit of Naeoe Distillery — artistic inspiration springs forth like a well every evening through DJ sets and shared moments.

“모든 사람은 춤을 추어야 한다” - 바체바 무용단 예술감독을 역임한 세계적인 안무가 오하드 나하린이 창안한 움직임 언어 가가(Gaga)를 S씨어터에서 경험해보세요. 가가(Gaga)는 여러분의 신체를 깊은 감각으로 살피며, 상상력을 자극하며 단계별로 움직임의 즐거움을 만끽하게 해줄거예요. 한국인 최초의 바체바 무용단원으로 활약한 김천웅 안무가가 본 워크숍의 안내자로 참여합니다. 무용에 대한 경험이 없는 일반인, 전문 무용수 모두 워크숍에 참여 가능합니다.
“Everyone and anyone can dance” - Experience Gaga, the movement language created by world-renowned choreographer Ohad Naharin, former artistic director of Batsheva Dance Company, at Sejong S Theater. Gaga invites you to explore your body with deep awareness, stimulate your imagination, and gradually immerse yourself in the joy of movement. This workshop will be guided by choreographer Kim Chunwoong, the first Korean dancer to perform with Batsheva Dance Company. Open to everyone, from complete beginners with no dance experience to professional dancers.

Experience the creative process of Sync Next 25 with Haeni and Mr. Kriss, who are renowned dance community organizers and global workshop leaders. This performance, created with thirty dancers, has been transformed into an open-body workshop that anyone can participate in. Enhance your experience of the performance through a workshop led directly by these two choreographers.

모든 할인은 중복 적용이 불가하며, 관람 당일 현장에서는 할인율 변경 및 취소, 환불이 불가합니다. 증빙 할인을 받은 내용이 있을 경우, 티켓 수령 시 증빙서류를 제시해주셔야 합니다. 증빙서류 미지참 시 정가 기준 차액을 지불하셔야 티켓 수령이 가능합니다.
Artists with proof of activity, pregnant women, national merit recipients, and Culture Relay Ticket holders are eligible for discounts on select performances. Discount types and rates vary by performance. Please check the specific performance page for applicable discounts before booking.
All discounts cannot be combined, and changes to the discount rate, cancellations, or refunds are not allowed on the day of the performance. If you have purchased a discounted ticket, you must present the required proof upon ticket collection. Failure to provide the necessary documentation will require payment of the price difference based on the regular ticket price.

Wheelchair users, individuals with disabilities, and their companions are eligible for a 50% discount on all ticket prices. Tickets can be purchased via phone (+82-2-399-1000), webpage, or by visiting ther Service Plaza. Please present your physical disability welfare card when collecting tickets.
Our venue is accessible via an elevator located on the first floor of the Arts Building, which leads directly to the theater lobby. Additionally, barrier-free restrooms are available in the lobby.
